Your Privacy Matters to Us
This Privacy Policy explains how Lineout Point ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Land Survey CRM mobile application and web platform. By using our app, you agree to this policy.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information when you use Land Survey CRM:
- • Account Information: Your name, email address, employee code, mobile number, designation, and joining date provided during registration.
- • Role & Branch Data: Your assigned role (Super Admin, Branch Admin, or Employee) and branch association used for role-based access control.
- • Usage Data: Actions you perform — leads created, tickets updated, tasks assigned — logged for audit trail purposes via the Activity Log.
- • Survey Documents: Files you upload to the platform related to construction and building survey projects, stored securely in our file storage.
- • Financial Records: Expense data, payment collection records, and account balances entered by authorized personnel.
- • Device Information: App version, OS type, and device identifiers used for crash reporting and support.
How We Use Your Information
Your data is used for the following purposes:
- • To provide and operate the Land Survey CRM platform and all its features.
- • To enforce role-based access control and branch-level data isolation across the system.
- • To generate audit trails via the Activity Log for every operation performed in the CRM.
- • To send CRM notifications about leads, tasks, tickets, and survey confirmations assigned to you.
- • To generate PDF reports for site confirmations, expenses, and performance targets.
- • To improve app performance, troubleshoot issues, and respond to support requests.
Data Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We may share data only in these circumstances:
- • Within your organization: Data is shared between authorized employees within the same branch as required for survey operations.
- • Service providers: Trusted hosting and infrastructure providers who process data on our behalf under strict confidentiality agreements.
- • Legal compliance: If required by law, court order, or government authority.
Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:
- • Password hashing: All passwords are hashed using bcrypt — never stored in plain text.
- • Authentication: Laravel Sanctum authentication with mandatory email verification before access is granted.
- • CSRF Protection: CSRF tokens on all forms to prevent cross-site request forgery attacks.
- • Branch isolation: Strict branch_id scoping at database level — each branch's data is completely inaccessible to other branches.
- • Authorization policies: Role-based policies (LeadPolicy, TicketPolicy, TaskPolicy, etc.) control access to every resource.
- • File validation: Uploaded survey documents are validated for file type and stored in a protected server directory.
Data Retention
We retain your account and operational data for as long as your account is active. Records such as leads, tickets, and activity logs use soft deletes, meaning data is recoverable and not permanently erased immediately. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be permanently removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your data:
- • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete personal data.
- • Deletion: Request permanent deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
- • Objection: Object to certain types of processing of your personal data.
Children's Privacy
Land Survey CRM is a professional business tool intended for adults (18+) in a workplace context. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we will delete it immediately.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
